WATERLOO, Ontario, Canada -
GoldCare, a market leader in healthcare management software, is excited to officially announce that McCormick Dementia Services, a division of McCormick Care Group, has successfully implemented GoldCare’s Home and Community Care software after its previous system failed to meet expectations.
Prior to GoldCare, McCormick Dementia Services was using a competing system that did not meet the organization’s specific needs. Accomplishing even simple tasks such as client check-ins became unnecessarily cumbersome and time-consuming. In addition, the team had to rely on outside programs for reporting, billing and other needs.
It became clear that McCormick Dementia Services needed a better system to accomplish its goals, and so, it chose to implement GoldCare into the Adult Day Program for Dementia.
With GoldCare, the team was able to consolidate all of its activities and departments within one system, eliminating the need for Microsoft Excel and other outside programs. This helped the team drastically streamline client check-ins and billing as well as rely on customized dashboards to quickly generate reports that communicated everything the team needed to see.
“McCormick Dementia Services selected GoldCare for a number of key reasons,” said Karen Johnson, the Director at McCormick Dementia Services. “We now have a customizable and simple display that reflects our unique adult day program environment and a single point of entry that populates other lists in a way that is more streamlined. The system is user-friendly – fewer clicks, fewer manual entries and more automatic population of data.”
“It’s been a pleasure to work with the GoldCare team,” said Steven Crawford, the CEO of McCormick Care Group. “Their entire team was dedicated to our success. They really listened and learned about our specific needs and system challenges. They collaborated with our staff to develop solutions and supported our staff through all phases of system design and training.
We are very pleased with the results so far, and look forward to continuing our relationship with GoldCare, working together to improve the lives of those living with dementia.”
“We are glad to welcome McCormick Dementia Services as our client,” said Paula Hucko, the President of GoldCare. “I think our joint success at McCormick speaks volumes on our willingness to partner with a client to ensure their success using our solutions. Our goal is to provide more than just a piece of software. We deliver the complete experience – from highly qualified staff to our approach to implementation, with highly flexible and robust software. This, and a culture of partnering with customers elevates us above our competition.”
