Rising through the ranks, Paula first joined GoldCare as VP of Sales and Marketing, and then Chief Operating Officer. In her current role as President, Paula oversees operations in both Canada and Australia/New Zealand. With an MBA and B Sc. from McMaster University, Paula has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare, software development, and financial services industries. She also sits on the Board of ITAC Health, which adds to her rich healthcare knowledge and experience in a number of sectors.
Director, Professional Services & Hosting
A member of the management team reporting to the President, Al is responsible for strategic and operational initiatives for GoldCare Professional Services and Hosting. He has held positions in healthcare IT for over two decades beginning in acute care in 1993. During his career, Al has led successful projects and managed teams in various regions including Canada, the US, New Zealand and Australia. With a dedication to excellence, Al appreciates feedback on GoldCare experiences to further improve the services we provide.
Director of Product Development
Heather originally joined GoldCare in 2002 as a Customer Service Representative. She used her accumulated and extensive knowledge to transition to the Development Team in 2006. In 2008 Heather was promoted to Development Manager and in 2014 to Director of Product Development. Heather is responsible for all aspect of GoldCare’s Research and Development department; including Product Management, software development, Quality Assurance and Product documentation.
Service Desk Senior Manager
Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, Matt joined GoldCare in 2012, working as a member of the GoldCare Services group. In his current role, Matt is responsible for managing all aspects of the GoldCare Service Desk including; developing policy, procedures and service delivery metrics, troubleshooting and resolving application problems/data corruption issues, troubleshooting/testing/documenting software bugs and workarounds; coordinating technical and applications customer service delivery and managing a team of Service Desk Analysts with a goal of achieving excellence in service delivery to GoldCare customers.
Manager, Professional Services and Support
Teena Shea, Senior Project Leader joined Campana in January 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, and is an Associate member of the Australian Institute for Project Management, pursuing a CPPM certification. Teena has 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector; and has implemented GoldCare at both community care and aged care sites – rolling out community support, financial, residential administration, WebAccess, payroll, staff manager, and health care records modules. Teena regularly contributes to developments and enhancements to the GoldCare software package.
