AXIS Accounts Receivable tracks customer invoices and payments to provide extensive inquiry, credit history, and reporting functions to process receivables. For complete and accurate receivables accounting, Accounts Receivable maintains credit profiles, sales records and a list of sub-customers (parties that make purchases on a customer's account).
To improve the efficiency and timeliness of receivable collections, Accounts Receivable lets auto clubs:
- process and report on cash receipts
- enter and print miscellaneous (manual) invoices
- consolidate customers with a common billing address
- set service charges with customer-specific rates
- calculate service charges, split terms and discounts
- create mailing groups and print mailing labels
- print customer statements
- maintain and track receipts by customer, for easy account balancing and integration with General Ledger accounts
- interface with Emergency Road Service to process payments from Special Clients (such as affiliated clubs and roadside assistance programs)
Accounts Receivable interfaces with Accounts Payable to accommodate credit balance transfers for customer and supplier accounts. Accounts Payable also interfaces with Travel to invoice customers for transactions processed from the Central Reservation System.
